this morning...

is so stinking slow at work. it's 8am and we've had a total of 4 customers, all of whom had coffee. G is reading a book and i've been downloading music (tom petty and the heartbreakers, etc.) from the net. but, it's not all that bad. we're listening to some bruce springsteen and just enjoying the stillness of this beautiful morning at which our lovely father has blessed us with. peace be with you all!

i'm putting my foot down!

ugh... i know, i know. i'm such a bad blogger. i blame it on the fact that i don't have regular access to the internet. but, truly, that's not a legitimate excuse. anywho, on that note, yes, i am alive and well. i have made a deal with myself that i will blog at least once if not multiple times a week. i have been lacking on the whole writing for quite some time now and have come to the conclusion that it needs to end. i have way too much built-up in my head and i need to let it out. and what better way to let it out then to just do it, no? 

tonight i have been fascinated with the haiku. so i wrote:

Angry bark bites down

Once fresh green, now hungry fangs

Dryads knew better

Hark innocent child

Pleas political freedom
