It’s the 17th of August 2008.
The air outside moves just enough to make the leaves of the trees flutter. Some of the leaves fall to the ground while others stay intact. I wonder what the average time of a leaf to stay attached to a tree is?
I seriously just got pooped on by a bird. I JUST POOPED ON! And now that I realized it the poop landed right next to the bird stitched on my shirt. I’m still writing with bird poop on me, haha!
The rocking chair that I’m sitting in is quite lovely. It’s my friend James’. He told me he bought it at a thrift store for half price. It was originally $49.49. What a random price. It creaks when you rock in it. I can feel the unevenness of the bricks when it rocks.
I just got done reading one of the most pleasantly, beautiful, inspiring books I have ever read. It’s called, “The principles of Uncertainty” by Maria Kalman. The book is in the title. I don’t want to write much about it, you seriously just have to go out and buy it. Here is one of my most favorite paintings and thoughts from the book. I just about died of laughter when I read it.
There’s a woodpecker peaking away on a telephone-post across the street. I wonder if he was the one who pooped on me?
